The FY2015 General Budget Proposal of Taipei Municipal Government Has Been Submitted to Taipei City Council on July 29, 2014

The FY2015 general budget proposal, the subordinate agency budget and consolidated tables of general budget proposal, and the FY2014 supplementary budget proposal of Taipei Municipal Government have been submitted to Taipei City Council on July 29, 2014. The annual revenue for the FY2015 general budget proposal amounts to NTD 156.22 billion, and the annual expenditure for FY2015 amounts to NTD 159.06 billion, showing decrease of 2.88% and7.11%, respectively, compared to those for the FY2014 general budget. The amount of the shortfall of the annual revenue and expenditure (NTD2.84 billion) and the debt repayment (NTD 6.6 billion) will be NTD 9.44 billion for the surplus of previous fiscal years.
The FY2015 Subordinate Agency Budget and Consolidated Tables of the General Budget Proposal of Taipei Municipal Government have been submitted to Taipei City Council on July 29, 2014. The annual revenue goal for the FY2015 amounts to NT$ 212.03 billion while the annual expenditure for the FY2015 amounts to NT$ 201.06 billion. Compared to those for the FY2014 Subordinate Agency Budget, the annual revenue and expenditure increase 4.65% and 10.97%,respectively. The surplus is NT$10.97 billion and indicates an decrease of 48.81% when compared to that for FY2014.
The annual revenue for the FY2014 supplementary budget proposal additionally amounts to NTD4.41 billion, and the net annual expenditure additionally amounts to NTD2.41 billion. After the addition/reduction, the FY2014 annual revenue amounts to NTD 165.26 billion and expenditure amounts to NTD 173.64 billion, having increased 5.49% and decreased 1.87%, respectively, in comparison with those for FY2013.
