Department of Budget, Accounting and Statistics (DBAS) of Taipei City Government conducts the “Family Income and Expenditure Survey 2021” cum “ Family Income and Expenditure Survey by Record-keeping 2022” through onsite visits

1. Survey Period: From December 1th ,2021 to February 28th, 2022

2. Survey Subjects: Independent households registered of the Republic of China who reside in Taipei City with the members living under a shared household economy.

3. Survey Objective: To obtain an understanding of the living standards and consumption behavior of residents in Taipei City’s general households, and use the information gathered as references for determining the standards for the issuance of low-income family subsidy, family income eligibility for purchase of public housing, weighted consumer price index calculation and fees payable in court decisions.

The information gathered from this survey is strictly confidential and will not be used for purposes other than the overall statistical analysis.
