95720770https://dbaseng.gov.taipei/News_Content.aspx?n=43414ABF280A1E48&s=B798768319B8417ADepartment of Budget, Accounting and Statistics (DBAS) of Taipei City Government conducts "Manpower Survey additions-Manpower Utilization Survey for May 2026"<ol><li>Survey period: May 17 to May 26 in 2026.</li><li>(Online fill-in: May 13 to May 16 in 2026)</li><li>Survey subjects: Citizens aged 15 and above who engage in economic activities, excluding those in the military services or in prison.</li><li>Survey objective:<ol style="list-style: none; padding-left: 0;"><li style="display: flex; margin-bottom: 8px;">(1) Manpower Survey: Collect the data of civilians aged 15 and above on the status of employment, unemployment and non-labor force (such as old age, schooling, housekeeping, etc.) to grasp the manpower supply changes and be a reference for government manpower policies.</li><li style="display: flex; margin-bottom: 8px;">(2) Manpower Utilization Survey: Collect the data on short-term fluctuations in labor utilization and transfer, employment and unemployment status to meet the needs of social and economic development in the Taiwan region. These data serve as reference for formulating manpower policies, promoting vocational training, gender equality and improving enterprise operation decisions.</li></ol></li><li>Survey method: Onsite visit, telephone interview and online fill-in.</li></ol>The planning and sampling design of this survey is conducted by the Directorate-General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics of the Executive Yuan. The co-organizers are the municipal and county governments in charge of conducting the surveys in their respective administrative areas.
